National Energy Conservation Day :

For the benefit of the students, the Department of Zoology observed National Energy Conservation Day with the motto "Save Energy for Your Better Future." Dr. Manjunatha M.K. Principal talked about using natural resources for energy only when essential and avoiding waste. Chemistry Assistant Professor Dr. B.N. Chandrasekhar spoke to the class about fuel saving.  Mrs. Hombalamma H. Kannada Asst. Prof.  and Mrs. Radhamma K.M. Zoology Asst. Prof.  discussed the problems caused by the misuse of natural resources. On the occasion of National Energy Conservation Day, the Department of Zoology held an essay contest.

ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಅನುಕೂಲಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಾಣಿಶಾಸ್ತ್ರ ವಿಭಾಗವು "ನಿಮ್ಮ ಉತ್ತಮ ಭವಿಷ್ಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಇಂಧನ ಉಳಿಸಿ" ಎಂಬ ಧ್ಯೇಯವಾಕ್ಯದೊಂದಿಗೆ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಇಂಧನ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಣಾ ದಿನವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಿತು. ಡಾ.ಮಂಜುನಾಥ ಎಂ.ಕೆ. ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರು ನೈಸರ್ಗಿಕ ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲಗಳನ್ನು ಅಗತ್ಯವಿದ್ದಾಗ ಮಾತ್ರ ಬಳಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಮತ್ತು ತ್ಯಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸುವ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು. ರಸಾಯನಶಾಸ್ತ್ರ ಸಹಾಯಕ ಪ್ರಾಧ್ಯಾಪಕ ಡಾ.ಬಿ.ಎನ್. ಚಂದ್ರಶೇಖರ್ ಇಂಧನ ಉಳಿತಾಯದ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು. ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಹೊಂಬಾಳಮ್ಮ ಎಚ್. ಕನ್ನಡ ಸಹಾಯಕ ಪ್ರಾಧ್ಯಾಪಕರು ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ರಾಧಮ್ಮ ಕೆ.ಎಂ. ಪ್ರಾಣಿಶಾಸ್ತ್ರ ಸಹಾಯಕ ಪ್ರಾಧ್ಯಾಪಕರು ನೈಸರ್ಗಿಕ ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲಗಳ ದುರುಪಯೋಗದಿಂದಾಗುವ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ವಿಸ್ತಾರವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದರು. ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಇಂಧನ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಣಾ ದಿನದ ಪ್ರಯುಕ್ತ ಪ್ರಾಣಿಶಾಸ್ತ್ರ ವಿಭಾಗ ದಿಂದ ಪ್ರಬಂಧ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಯನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
