The NSS Unit organized the Bapuji Essay Writing Competition on 8th September 2025 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the Seminar Hall. A total of 53 students actively participated in the event.

NSS Wing Orientation Programme – 2025

On 18-08-2025, the NSS Wing organised an Orientation Programme for First-Year Students. The session was graced by Mr. Shivaraju G.B., President of Mahatma Gandhi Trust, Gandhi Bhavan, Arasikere, who served as the Resource Person.

In his inspiring session, Mr. Shivaraju G.B. taught the students about nurturing a service-oriented mindset, adopting Gandhian values in everyday life, and the importance of serving society with dedication and compassion. His words motivated the students to take responsibility as active NSS volunteers and contribute positively to the community.

The programme was organised by Mr. Bhaskara J. and Mr. Narasimhamurthy P. The presidential address was delivered by Dr. Manjunatha M.K., Principal, who highlighted the importance of social service, discipline, and active participation in NSS activities for overall student development.

ದಿ. 18-08-2025 ರಂದು ಪ್ರಥಮ ವರ್ಷದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಎನ್‌ಎಸ್‌ಎಸ್ ಘಟಕದ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಓರಿಯಂಟೇಶನ್ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಅತಿಥಿಯಾಗಿ ಮಹಾತ್ಮಾ ಗಾಂಧಿ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್, ಗಾಂಧಿ ಭವನ, ಅರಸಿಕೆರೆ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಶಿವರಾಜು ಜಿ.ಬಿ. ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ್ದರು ಮತ್ತು ಅವರು ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯಾಗಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರೇರಣಾದಾಯಕ ಭಾಷಣವನ್ನೂ ನೀಡಿದರು.

ಸ್ವಂತ ಸೇವಾ ಮನೋಭಾವವನ್ನು ಬೆಳೆಸುವುದು, ದಿನನಿತ್ಯದ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಗಾಂಧೀಯ ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಅಳವಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು ಹಾಗೂ ಸಮಾಜಿಕ ಸೇವೆಗೆ ನಿಷ್ಠೆಯಿಂದ ಮತ್ತು ಕರುಣೆಯಿಂದ ಬದ್ಧರಾಗುವುದು ಎಂಬ ವಿಷಯಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಅವರು ನುಡಿದರು. ಸಮಾಜದ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದಿಗಾಗಿ ತಾವು ಏನಾದರೂ ಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂಬ ಭಾವನೆ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂಡಿಸಿ, ಎನ್‌ಎಸ್‌ಎಸ್ ಸ್ವಯಂಸೇವಕರಾಗಿ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯಿಂದ ನಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಿಸಿದರು.

ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಶ್ರೀ ಭಾಸ್ಕರ ಜೆ. ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೀ ನರಸಿಂಹಮೂರ್ತಿ ಪಿ. ಅವರ ಸಂಯೋಜನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

ಡಾ. ಎಂ.ಕೆ. ಮಂಜುನಾಥ, ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರು, ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷೀಯ ಭಾಷಣದ ಮೂಲಕ ಸಮಾಜಸೇವೆ, ಶಿಸ್ತು ಮತ್ತು ಎನ್‌ಎಸ್‌ಎಸ್ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಕ್ರಿಯ ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಳ್ಳುವಿಕೆಯು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಸಮಗ್ರ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಗೆ ಹೇಗೆ ಸಹಕಾರಿಯಾಗುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ತೋರಿಸಿದರು.

Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Birth Anniversary Celebration

The NSS unit of Sri Adichunchanagiri First Grade College, Channarayapatna, organized a special event on the Morning of April 14, 2025, to commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the principal architect of the Indian Constitution and a pioneer of social justice and equality.

The program began at 8:30 AM with a floral tribute to Dr. Ambedkar's portrait by the faculty members.

The event featured a keynote speech by Mr. Siddaraju, Assistant Professor of Political Science, who eloquently spoke about Dr. Ambedkar’s legacy, his role in shaping the democratic fabric of India, and the relevance of his thoughts in contemporary society. He encouraged the students to uphold the values of justice, equality, and fraternity as envisioned by Dr. Ambedkar.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from faculty, reflecting their deep respect and admiration for Dr. Ambedkar’s life and work.

The program concluded with a vote of thanks by the NSS Programme Officer Mr. Bhaskara J., acknowledging the contributions of all who made the event a success.
