The department of Political Science celebrate a National Voters Day at today, Wednesday 25th January 2023 at Prayer Assembly with the slogan of "Nothing like voting, I vote for Sure". Mr. Siddaraju had taught the student and coworker voter pledge. “ We, the citizens of India, having abiding faith in democracy, hereby pledge to uphold the democratic traditions of our country and the dignity of free, fair and peaceful elections, and to vote in every election fearlessly and without being influenced by considerations of religion, race, caste, community, language or any inducement ”.
ರಾಜ್ಯಶಾಸ್ತ್ರ ವಿಭಾಗವು ಇಂದು, ಬುಧವಾರ 25ನೇ ಜನವರಿ 2023 ರಂದು ಪ್ರೇಯರ್ ಅಸೆಂಬ್ಲಿಯಲ್ಲಿ "ಮತದಾನಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಇನ್ನೊಂದಿಲ್ಲ, ನಾನು ಖಚಿತವಾಗಿ ಮತದಾನ ಮಾಡುವೆ" ಎಂಬ ಘೋಷಣೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಮತದಾರರ ದಿನವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಶ್ರೀ ಸಿದ್ದರಾಜು ಅವರು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಸಹೋದ್ಯೋಗಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಮತದಾರರ ಪ್ರತಿಜ್ಞೆ ವಿಧಿಯನ್ನು ಬೋಧಿಸಿದರು. "ಪ್ರಜಾಪ್ರಭುತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ದೃಢವಿಶ್ವಾಸವುಳ್ಳ ಭಾರತದ ಪೌರರಾದ ನಾವು, ನಮ್ಮ ದೇಶದ ಪ್ರಜಾಸತ್ತಾತ್ಮಕ ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಮುಕ್ತ, ನ್ಯಾಯಸಮ್ಮತ ಮತ್ತು ಶಾಂತಿಯುತ ಚುನಾವಣೆಗಳ ಘನತೆಯನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ಹಿಡಿಯುತ್ತೇವೆಂದು ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಚುನಾವಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರ್ಭೀತವಾಗಿ ಮತ್ತು ಧರ್ಮ, ಜನಾಂಗ, ಜಾತಿ, ಮತ, ಭಾಷೆ ಅಥವಾ ಯಾವುದೇ ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಣೆಗಳ ದಾಕ್ಷಿಣ್ಯಗಳಿಂದ ಪ್ರಭಾವಿತರಾಗದೆ ಮತ ಚಲಾಯಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆಂದು ಈ ಮೂಲಕ ಪ್ರತಿಜ್ಞೆ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ."
