Celebration of National Youth Day

National Youth Day, the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, was celebrated by the Youth Red Cross Unit in our assembly on Thursday, January 12, 2023. Mr. Chethan D.S., an assistant professor in the Department of Geography, addressed the students about the Vivekanada vision and mission for our nation. He described the events in Chicago as more about a few incidents. Dr. Manjunatha M.K., the principal, spoke some words about Swami Viveknanda.

ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ವಿವೇಕಾನಂದರ ಜನ್ಮದಿನವಾದ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಯುವ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯನ್ನು ಯೂತ್ ರೆಡ್‌ಕ್ರಾಸ್ ಘಟಕದಿಂದ ಜನವರಿ 12, 2023 ರಂದು ಗುರುವಾರ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನಾ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ  ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಭೂಗೋಳಶಾಸ್ತ್ರ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಸಹಾಯಕ ಪ್ರಾಧ್ಯಾಪಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಚೇತನ್ ಡಿ.ಎಸ್. ಅವರು ವಿವೇಕಾನಂದರ ಕುರಿತು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ವಿಚಾರ ವಿನಿಮಯ ಮಾಡಿದರು . ನಮ್ಮ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರದ ದೃಷ್ಟಿ ಮತ್ತು ಚಿಂತನೆ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಚಿಕಾಗೋದಲ್ಲಿನ ಕೆಲವು ಘಟನೆಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ವಿವರಿಸಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಸ್ಫೂರ್ತಿ ತುಂಬಿದರು.  ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ವಿವೇಕಾನಂದರ ಕುರಿತು ಪ್ರಾಚಾರ್ಯರಾದ ಡಾ.ಮಂಜುನಾಥ ಎಂ.ಕೆ. ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು.
