The event was organized by the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) with an objective to enhance teaching methodologies through the integration of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) tools. The session was led by Mr. Anser Pasha C A, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Adichunchanagiri Institute of Technology & Engineering, Chikkamagaluru – 577102. His expertise in ICT tools and their implementation in teaching practices provided valuable insights to all attendees.
The workshop was thoughtfully structured into two key segments to ensure a comprehensive learning experience for all participants.
Special Lecture: This session emphasized the growing importance of ICT (Information and Communication Technology) in the field of modern education. The resource person highlighted how digital tools can enhance the teaching-learning process, making it more interactive, engaging, and efficient. Key topics covered included the use of multimedia presentations, online assessment platforms, virtual classrooms, and collaborative tools such as Google Workspace and Microsoft Teams. Participants were introduced to strategies for integrating these technologies into traditional classroom settings to improve learning outcomes.
Practical Training: In this hands-on segment, participants were given the opportunity to explore and operate various ICT tools discussed during the lecture. Through guided exercises and real-time demonstrations, they gained practical experience in using educational software, content creation platforms, and online teaching aids. This session helped bridge the gap between theory and practice, equipping attendees with the skills necessary to implement ICT tools (Google Class room) effectively in their own teaching environments. A total of 21 faculty memebers actively participated in the workshop, engaging in both the lecture and training sessions. The workshop was well-received and appreciated for its practical relevance and interactive format. The event concluded with a vote of thanks to the resource person and the participants for their involvement, marking the session as a successful initiative towards improving teaching efficiency through technology.
