Special Lecture Programme on Biodiversity and Conservation

On Thursday, December 29, 2022, the Department of Zoology hosted an unique lecture series on biodiversity and conservation. The students learned about the many varieties, significance, and conservation strategies of biodiversity from a guest Mrs. Nandini A, Assistant Professor, Sri Adichunchanagiri Shiksha Mahavidyalaya, Channarayapatna.

ಪ್ರಾಣಿಶಾಸ್ತ್ರ ವಿಭಾಗವು 29ನೇ ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್ 2022, ಗುರುವಾರದಂದು ಜೀವವೈವಿಧ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಕುರಿತು ವಿಶೇಷ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಅತಿಥಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ನಂದಿನಿ ಎ, ಪ್ರಾಧ್ಯಾಪಕರು, ಶ್ರೀ ಆದಿಚುಂಚನಗಿರಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಮಹಾವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯ, ಚನ್ನರಾಯಪಟ್ಟಣ, ಅವರು ಜೀವವೈವಿಧ್ಯದ ಪ್ರಕಾರಗಳು, ಪ್ರಾಮುಖ್ಯತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂರಕ್ಷಣಾ ವಿಧಾನಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಅರಿವು ಮೂಡಿಸಿದರು

At the day's assembly, Hombalamma H., the head of the Kannada Department, conducted "Vishwamanava Disnacharane," (Kuvempu's Birth Anniversary). Kuvempur Bhavagithe was sung by Binduraj, an assistant professor in the department of commerce. SAFG College Principal Dr|| Manjunath M.K. spoke about how the idea of universality has grown around the world. Venkatesh JR Assistant Professor, a resource person from Government First Class College, Channarayapatna, spoke in-depth with the students about Kuvempu's character, human religion, and humanistic philosophy.

ಇಂದು ಬೆಳಗ್ಗೆ ಪ್ರಾಥನಾ ಸಭೆ ಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಶ್ವಮಾನವ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆ (ಕುವೆಂಪು ಅವರ ಜನ್ಮದಿನೋತ್ಸವ)ವನ್ನು ಕನ್ನಡ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥೆ ಹೊಂಬಾಳಮ್ಮ ಎಚ್. ಇವರು ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟರು. ಬಿಂದುರಾಜ್, ವಾಣಿಜ್ಯ ವಿಭಾಗ ಸಹಾಯಕ ಪ್ರಾದ್ಯಾಪಕರು  ರವರು ಕುವೆಂಪುರ ಭಾವಗೀತೆ ಯನ್ನು ಹಾಡಿದರು. ಪ್ರಾಚಾರ್ಯರಾದ ಡಾ|| ಮಂಜುನಾಥ ಎಮ್.ಕೆ.. ರವರು ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ಕುವೆಂಪು ಅವರು ವಿಶ್ವಕ್ಕೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಕೊಡುಗೆ ವಿಶ್ವಮಾನವ  ಸಂದೇಶವು ಹೇಗೆ ಪಸರಿಸಿದೆ ಎಂದು ವಿಸ್ತಾರವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯಾಗಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದ ವೆಂಕಟೇಶ್ ಜೆ.ಆರ್ ಸಹಾಯಕ ಪ್ರಾಧ್ಯಾಪಕರು ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಪ್ರಥಮ ದರ್ಜೆ ಕಾಲೇಜು, ಚನ್ನರಾಯಪಟ್ಟಣ, ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಕುವೆಂಪು ಅವರ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿತ್ವ, ಮಾನವ ಧರ್ಮ, ಮನುಜ ಮತ  ವಿಶ್ವಪಥ ಕುರಿತು ಬಹಳ ವಿಸ್ತಾರವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು.

ಇಂದು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನಾ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿಅಂತಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಜಾಂಬೂರಿ ಶಿಬಿರದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಂಡ ರೇಂಜರ್ಸ್ ಮತ್ತು ರೋವರ್ಸ್  ಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಪಾತ್ರವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಾಚಾರ್ಯರಾದ ಡಾ. ಮಂಜುನಾಥ ಎಮ್.ಕೆ. ಅವರು ವಿತರಿಸಿದರು. ಡಾ. ಪ್ರವೀಣ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಎಸ್. ರವರು ರೋವರ್ಸ್ ಲೀಡರ್ ರವರನ್ನು ಅಭಿನಂದಿಸಿದರು.

Our college students have successfully participated in the International Cultural Jamboree Camp from 21st Dec to 27th Dec 2022.

ನಮ್ಮ ಕಾಲೇಜು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು 21ನೇ ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್‌ನಿಂದ 27ನೇ ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್ 2022ರವರೆಗೆ ಅಂತಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಜಾಂಬೂರಿ ಶಿಬಿರದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು.

National Farmers Day

The Farmer song was sung in the Assembly on December 23, 2022, in honor of the farmers. The principal talked to the class and emphasized the significance of National Farmers Day. The fifth Prime Minister of India, Chaudhary Charan Singh, had his birthday celebrated on this day. Another name for National Farmers Day is Kisan Divas. Former SAFG College Principal Prof. K. Chandran, a guest, spoke a bit about the Farmer. Dr. B.N. Chandrasekhar, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry, gave a description of the situation facing farmers and agriculture in the nation. The session was then brought to a close by the program's convenor, Mr. Chetan D.S. an Assistant Professor in the Department of Geography. 

ದಿನಾಂಕ 23 ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್ 2022 ರಂದು ಅಸ್ಸೆಂಬ್ಲಿ ಯಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ರೈತ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆ ಪ್ರಯುಕ್ತ ರೈತ ಗೀತೆ ಯನ್ನು  ಹಾಡಿ  ರೈತರಿಗೆ ನಮನ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಲಾಯ್ತು ಪ್ರಾಚಾರ್ಯರು ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಉದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ರೈತರ ದಿನದ ಮಹತ್ವ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾತಾನಾಡಿದರು. ಭಾರತದ ಐದನೇ ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ಚೌಧರಿ ಚರಣ್ ಸಿಂಗ್ ಅವರ ಜನ್ಮ ವಾರ್ಷಿಕೋತ್ಸವದ ನೆನಪಿಗಾಗಿ ಈ ದಿನವನ್ನು ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ರೈತರ ದಿನವನ್ನು ಕಿಸಾನ್ ದಿವಸ್ ಎಂದೂ ಕರೆಯುತ್ತಾರೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟರು.ಅತಿಥಿ ಗಣ್ಯರಾದ ಎಸ್‌ಎಎಫ್‌ಜಿ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಮಾಜಿ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲ ಪ್ರಾಧ್ಯಾಪಕ ಕೆ.ಚಂದ್ರನ್ ರೈತನ ಕುರಿತು ಒಂದಷ್ಟು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು. ಡಾ.ಬಿ.ಎನ್. ರಸಾಯನಶಾಸ್ತ್ರ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಸಹಾಯಕ ಪ್ರಾಧ್ಯಾಪಕ ಚಂದ್ರಶೇಖರ್ ಅವರು ದೇಶದ ಕೃಷಿ ಮತ್ತು ರೈತನಾ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ವಿವರಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಮತ್ತು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಸಂಚಾಲಕ ಶ್ರೀ ಚೇತನ್ ಡಿ.ಎಸ್   ಭೂಗೋಳಶಾಸ್ತ್ರ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಸಹಾಯಕ ಪ್ರಾಧ್ಯಾಪಕಅವರು ಅಧಿವೇಶನವನ್ನು ಮುಕ್ತಾಯಗೊಳಿಸಿದರು.
