Mysore University Malnad Zone Inter Collegiate Men Volleyball Tournament 2022-23 at SAFG College

Mysore University Malnad Zone Inter College Men Volleyball Competition 2022-23: Tournament at SAFG College is being organised by the Bhaskara J., Physical Director Physical Education Department.  Binduraj N. opened the programme with the invocation Song. Dr. M.K. Manjunatha, Principal SAFG, spoke about history of the Volleyball, Jayachandra, the organiser of the Mysore University Malnad Zone Intercollegiate tournament, advised the athletes to follow volleyball rules and regulations.

This tournament featured 21 teams. Sri Adichunchanagiri First Class College, Channarayapatna, won and brought the college glory. 

Hassan's Haranahalli Ramaswamy Higher Education Institute was the runner-up in the tournament.

Hassan Government Arts Commerce and Post Graduate College team secured third place in the tournament.

ಭಾಸ್ಕರ ಜೆ., ದೈಹಿಕ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ, ದೈಹಿಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ವಿಭಾಗವು ಮೈಸೂರು ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾನಿಲಯ ಮಲ್ನಾಡ್ ವಲಯ ಅಂತರ ಕಾಲೇಜು ಪುರುಷರ ವಾಲಿಬಾಲ್ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಯನ್ನು 2022-23 ಪಂದ್ಯಾವಳಿಯನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿತ್ತು.  ಡಾ.ಎಂ.ಕೆ. ಮಂಜುನಾಥ, ಪ್ರಾಚಾರ್ಯರು, ವಾಲಿಬಾಲ್ ಇತಿಹಾಸದ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು.ಮೈಸೂರು ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾನಿಲಯ ಮಲ್ನಾಡ್ ವಲಯ ಅಂತರಕಾಲೇಜು ಪಂದ್ಯಾವಳಿಯ ಆಯೋಜಕ ಜಯಚಂದ್ರ ಅವರು ವಾಲಿಬಾಲ್ ಕ್ರೀಡೆಯ ನಿಯಮಾವಳಿಗಳನ್ನು ಪಾಲಿಸುವಂತೆ ಕ್ರೀಡಾಪಟುಗಳಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.

ಈ ಪಂದ್ಯಾವಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ 21 ತಂಡಗಳು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದವು.. ಚನ್ನರಾಯಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಶ್ರೀ ಆದಿಚುಂಚನಗಿರಿ ಪ್ರಥಮ ದರ್ಜೆ ಕಾಲೇಜು ಗೆದ್ದು ಕಾಲೇಜಿಗೆ ಕೀರ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ತಂದುಕೊಟ್ಟರು.

ಹಾಸನದ ಹಾರನಹಳ್ಳಿ ರಾಮಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಉನ್ನತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯು ಪಂದ್ಯಾವಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ರನ್ನರ್ ಅಪ್ ಸ್ಥಾನ ಗಳಿಸಿತು.

ಪಂದ್ಯಾವಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಸನದ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಕಲಾ ವಾಣಿಜ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ನಾತಕೋತ್ತರ ಕಾಲೇಜು ತಂಡ ತೃತೀಯ ಸ್ಥಾನ ಗಳಿಸಿತು.
