Prize Distribution Programme “The Role of Youth in Preserving Democratic Values”

On 05-05-2025, the Department of Political Science and Karnataka Dalith Co-ordination ( Manuja math ) with MOU Organized an essay competition on the topic “ The Role of Youth in Preserving Democratic Values”. The essay competition was held in room number 201. A total of 77 students participated. Bengaluru Businessman Sri Ananda Gowda, who distributed prize to the Winners of the essay competition on Monday ,Spoke at the competitive Examination, he said that if success is achieved , it will help in shaping life. In this essay competition Eight Students got Consolation prize for First Place -Ruchitha S V, Second Place- Mohana H D , Third Place- Jayashree B R .

The District Coordinator of the Association is Mr.Govindaraju Dindaguru, our college Principal Dr M K Manjunath Assistant Professors Siddaraju R K Shivappa ,Dr B N Chandrashekar, Sridhar A N , Arpitha H J and Organization Leaders Shivalingowda, Kesavamurthy , A K Swamy, also the participated.

Celebration of National Voters Day

The department of Political Science and ELC celebrate a National Voters Day at today, Thursday 25th January 2024 at Kuvempu Vedhike with the slogan of "Nothing like voting, I vote for Sure". Mr. Siddharaju spoke about the importance of National Voter's Day. Dr. Nagaraja N.T., HoD of Political Science Department had taught the student and coworker voter pledge. “ We, the citizens of India, having abiding faith in democracy, hereby pledge to uphold the democratic traditions of our country and the dignity of free, fair and peaceful elections, and to vote in every election fearlessly and without being influenced by considerations of religion, race, caste, community, language or any inducement ”.
