On August 5, 2024, at 10 A.M., Dr. Nirupama M., HoD Zoology, organized a campus visit for first-year CBZ students to acquaint them with the college's resources, amenities, and atmosphere. This visit's goal is to assist students in getting ready for their upcoming academic endeavors.
First, the subject on zoology and the museum were presented, emphasizing the necessary tools and safety precautions. Proceed to our Botanical Garden, where a quick introduction to various plant and insect species is provided. After that, they went into the library after seeing the administrative office. Mrs. Kavitha J N, Librarian, gives a tour of the library's resources, including study spaces, computers, magazines, and special collections. Subsequently, Mr. Bhaskar J, the Physical Education Director, gave an introduction to the sports facilities, which included volleyball courts, kabaddi courts, and sports fields. Additionally, Mr. Narasimhamurthy P discussed the significance of the NSS Unit and the Student Welfare Committee. At last, the students were briefed by Dr. Nirupama M., the convener of the Youth Redcross and RedRibbon Unit, on the YRC unit and the significance of blood donation.
