Historical Temple Cleaning Event

 The Bharat Scouts and Guides organized a Historical Temple Cleaning Event on March 21,

2025, at Channakeshava Temple in Channarayapatna Taluk, Hassan District. The event was

presided over by Mr. A.M. Jayaram, Secretary of Bharat Scouts and Guides, Channarayapatna.

Dr. Praveen Kumar S, Rover Leader, and Mrs. Niroosha M. R., Ranger Leader, led the initiative.

Mr. A.M. Jayaram, Secretary of Bharat Scouts and Guides, Channarayapatna, addressed the

Rangers and Rovers, highlighting the historical significance of the Channakeshava Temple,

which was built in the 12th century, and the presence of inscriptions within the temple. The

Rovers and Rangers from our college actively participated in various activities, enthusiastically

engaging in cleanliness drives to clean the temple surroundings. They also worked to raise public

awareness about the importance of Indian epistles and inscriptions.
