The Institute organized Kannada Sambhrama – 2025 on 11th November 2025 to create public awareness about Kannada Rajyotsava.
The event began with a rally, where students and faculty members enthusiastically participated, holding Kannada flags and chanting slogans such as “Kannadave Satya, Kannadave Nitya”.
After the rally, a stage programme was conducted. The Chief Guest of the event was H.M. Srikanta, Lecturer, Times PU College, Channarayapatna, who delivered an inspiring speech on Kannada Nadu and Nudi. Shivappa R.K. gave the keynote address, and Dr. Manjunatha M.K., Principal, delivered the presidential speech.
The programme was well anchored by Mrs. Kalavathi, and organized by Mrs. Kavitha J.N., Librarian, along with Dr. Nirupama M., Head of the Department of Zoology, and Mr. Bhaskara J., Physical Education Director. The Welcome Address was delivered by Dr. N.T. Nagaraja, Head of the Department of Political Science, and the Vote of Thanks by Dr. B.N. Chandrashekar, IQAC Coordinator.
The stage decoration was creatively done by the final-year H.K. students.
Following the formal function, a cultural programme was held, featuring vibrant performances by students, including dances to Janapada Sahitya and Kannada-themed songs. Some faculty members and students also sang melodious Kannada songs.
The celebration concluded with distribution of sweets, marking a joyful end to the event.
