Sri Adichunchanagiri First Grade College, Channarayapatna organised a Special Lecture Programme on the occasion of National Science Day – 2026 on 06-03-2026 at 11:30 AM in the Seminar Hall. The topic of the lecture was “Women in Science: Catalysing Viksit Bharath Through the Power of General Science.”
The programme began with a prayer by Miss Bhavana (III B.Sc.). Dr. B. N. Chandrashekar, HoD of Chemistry, welcomed the gathering. The resource person, Dr. Nagaraj N., Professor of Physics and Registrar (Evaluation), Hassan University, delivered an informative talk highlighting the role of women in science and the importance of scientific knowledge in national development.
The programme was presided over by Dr. M. K. Manjunatha, Principal. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Miss Preksha C. S., IV Sem B.Sc.
Students and staff of the college participated in the programme.
