residents.
During the camp, a variety of activities were carried out
with active participation from the volunteers. A detailed village survey was
conducted to identify the key issues faced by the local community. Based on the
findings, cleanliness drives were organized in streets, public places, and
surroundings to promote hygiene and sanitation. Awareness programmes were
conducted to educate villagers about the importance of personal hygiene, waste
management, and maintaining a clean environment.
A health check-up camp was organized in collaboration with
local health officials, where villagers were provided with basic medical
examinations and guidance on preventive healthcare. Awareness sessions on
nutrition, common diseases, and healthy lifestyle practices were also
conducted. Environmental protection was another major focus of the camp, and
tree plantation activities were carried out along with rallies to spread
awareness about the importance of conserving nature.
The volunteers also conducted educational programmes for
school children, emphasizing the importance of education and motivating them to
pursue their studies. Cultural activities, group discussions, and interactive
sessions were organized to strengthen the bond between the volunteers and the
villagers. In addition, awareness programmes on digital literacy and various
government schemes were conducted to help villagers access available benefits
and services.
The camp concluded on 6th April 2026 with a valedictory
function, where feedback was received from villagers and participants.
Certificates were distributed to the volunteers in recognition of their active
involvement and service. The villagers expressed their appreciation for the
efforts of the NSS unit and acknowledged the positive changes brought about
during the camp.
