The Department of Commerce organised a B.Com. Induction Programme on 13 August 2026 to welcome and orient the newly admitted students to the academic environment of the institution.
The programme was presided over by Dr. M. K. Manjunatha, Principal, who addressed the students and highlighted the importance of higher education, discipline, academic excellence and active participation in co-curricular activities.
Mr. Sridhar A. N., Head of the Department of Commerce, delivered the content and provided students with an overview of the B.Com. programme, curriculum, academic expectations and opportunities available in the department.
The programme was hosted by Mr. Nandeesh S.C., who coordinated the proceedings effectively. Mr. Narasimhamurthy P. proposed the vote of thanks and formally concluded the programme.
The induction programme provided a meaningful beginning for the new B.Com. students and helped them understand the academic and institutional environment of the college.
