A Special Guidance Programme was organized during the morning prayer assembly at the college on 28.08.2026. The programme was conducted for the benefit of the undergraduate students, with the objective of providing them with valuable guidance on higher education, current developments, and the importance of academic excellence.
Dr. N. S. Ramegowda, a renowned educationist, former Vice-Chancellor of Karnataka State Open University (KSOU) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Sri Adichunchanagiri Education Trust, addressed the students and delivered an insightful motivational talk.
In his address, Dr. N. S. Ramegowda highlighted the importance of undergraduate education in the present globally competitive era. He emphasized the need for students to continuously update themselves with current affairs and developments in society, the economy, science, and technology. He encouraged students not to restrict their learning to textbooks but to develop a broader perspective and continuously enhance their knowledge and personality.
He also explained the significance of NAAC accreditation in ensuring and improving the quality of higher education institutions. He stressed that maintaining academic quality is a collective responsibility and that students must actively participate in the various academic and developmental initiatives of the institution.
The programme was attended by Mr. Suchith Kumar from the CEO’s Office, Principal Dr. M. K. Manjunath, teaching and non-teaching staff, and a large number of undergraduate students.
The guidance session was highly informative and motivating, inspiring students to develop greater academic awareness, confidence, competitive spirit, and a commitment towards continuous learning and overall personality development.
