Commerce Expo – 2026

 The Department of Commerce, Sri Adichunchanagiri First Grade College, organized a Commerce Expo on 17th September 2026 at the Library and Information Reading Room of the college. The expo was organized with the objective of providing students with an opportunity to showcase their creativity, practical knowledge, and understanding of various concepts related to commerce and business.

The programme was inaugurated by Dr. M. K. Manjunatha, Principal, who formally inaugurated the expo and appreciated the efforts of the Department of Commerce and the students.

Mr. P. Narasimhamurthy, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce, welcomed the Principal, jury members, faculty members, and students to the programme. Mr. Sridhar A.N. addressed the gathering and highlighted the importance of the Commerce Expo in enhancing students’ practical learning, creativity, presentation skills, and entrepreneurial thinking.

The expo was evaluated by a panel of judges comprising Mr. Ningaraju, Assistant Professor and Head, Department of English; Mrs. Kavitha J.N., Librarian; and Mr. Lokesh, Lecturer and Head, Department of Economics.

Mr. Bhaskar J., Physical Education Director, made the Library and Information Reading Room suitable for the expo by arranging and organizing the space for the display of charts and models.

The expo witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, with 51 chart presentations and 12 models displayed on various commerce-related themes. The exhibits reflected the students’ understanding, innovative ideas, and ability to present academic concepts in an interesting and practical manner.

The expo also attracted visitors from BGS PU College, Channarayapatna, and Sri Adichunchanagiri PU College, Channarayapatna, who visited the exhibition and appreciated the students’ presentations and models.

The Commerce Expo provided a meaningful platform for students to connect theoretical knowledge with practical applications while developing their communication, teamwork, creativity, and presentation skills. The programme concluded on a positive note, with appreciation for the students and faculty members for their active participation and successful organization of the event.
