The Principal spoke about Mahaswamiji's biography, and Mr. Kumar, Principal of BGS Public School, told Mahaswamiji stories. The government hospital's administrator, Dr. Mahesh, recalled Swamiji's sacredness.

Mahatma Gandhi's 154th birth anniversary and Lal Bahadur Shastri's 119th birth anniversary were celebrated on Monday, 2nd October 2023 at Kuvempu Vedhike. The faculty gathered around the portraits of Gandhiji and Lal Bahadur Shastri and laid flowers. Principal Dr. MK Manjunath spoke, recalled Gandhiji's birth in a wealthy family and his reputation for simplicity and he recalled the Uppina Satyagraha.
Speaking about Lal Bahadur Shastri, he said that he had waged war on Pakistan. The principal shared the information with his colleagues that Lal Bahadur Shastri had not even bought a car even though he was the Prime Minister. At the end, everyone did bhajan and tasted groundnut and jaggery.

To commemorate Gandhi's birthday, the NSS Unit held Swachh Bharat Shramdan on September 30, 2023, on the grounds of SAFG College. Volunteers cleaned the campus and happily participated in Shramadaan.
