Faculty Development Program on Advanced Research Methodology (ARM-2023)

Internal  Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), Sri Adichunchanagiri First Grade College organised a Faculty Development Program on Advanced Research Methodology (ARM-2023) on Friday, 14th July 2023. 

Research should be beneficial to society, according to B.E. Kumaraswamy, a resourceful Professor at Kuvempu University in Shimoga. According to him, research should be conducted methodically, with dedication and honesty, and if faculty members are conducting it, it should be beneficial to the students and aid in effective classroom instruction.

The resource person Dr. B. S. Poornima, principal of the Government First Class College in Channarayapatna, advocated for the expansion of knowledge through research.Because of the increased opportunities for research in higher education as a result of this, there are many job opportunities in social organisations like ICSR and IGNO.

A vaccine was discovered during the Covid research, according to Dr. N.S. Ramegowda, Chief Executive Officer of Adichunchanagiri Shikshna Trust (R). He claimed that studies were done to find a remedy for the Coconut tree disease.

Research and innovation can be very beneficial, according to the college's principal, Dr. MK Manjunath, and should be ongoing.

Dr. BN Chandrasekhara, the IQAC Coordinator, organised the event and welcomed all dignitaries.

Faculty Development Programme on "How to Prepare an Effective PowerPoint Presentation"

 IQAC had organised a Faculty Development Programme for all the teaching staff on 31-May-2023. The theme of the programme was "How to Prepare an Effective PowerPoint Presentation". The faculty members were given information on How to Effectively use ICT tools for making the lecture more fruitful. Mr. Nandeesh S.C., was the resource person. Dr B.N. Chandrashekar welcomed all the staff members cordially. Resource Person gave insights on using different ICT Tools. Dr. M.K. Manjunatha, Principal and all faculty members were present.
