The Red Ribbon Unit and Department of Physical Education organized a Women’s Kabaddi Tournament with the aim of promoting sportsmanship, teamwork, and encouraging women’s participation in sports. The event also served as a platform to raise awareness about AIDS among the students by distributing informative bills and posters. In his inaugural address, Mr. Ravikumar emphasized the importance of sports in building confidence, leadership skills, and physical fitness among women. Alongside the tournament, an AIDS awareness campaign was conducted to educate students about the causes, transmission, prevention, and social impact of HIV/AIDS. Informative bills and posters were distributed among students to spread awareness.
