The Department of Botany organised a programme on Botanical Insights: Identification and Uses of Plants on 30th September 2025 for the first-year students.
The programme was held in the college botanical garden.
Faculty members explained the methods of identifying different plants based on their external features. Students were also informed about the nutritional, medicinal, industrial, and ecological uses of plants. It was a hands-on learning session where students actively participated in observing and recording plant characters.
The programme enhanced awareness among students about the importance of plants in daily life and environmental balance.
