On the occasion of World Ozone Day, the Department of Zoology organized a Pledge Ceremony to spread awareness about the protection of the ozone layer and the conservation of our planet Earth. The event was held on 16th September 2025 in the Prayer Hall of our college. The main objective of the programme was to instil a sense of environmental responsibility and encourage students to contribute actively towards safeguarding the environment for future generations.
All the faculty members and students gathered in the Prayer Hall during the morning assembly, where the Ozone Day Pledge was administered. The pledge emphasized the importance of reducing pollution, conserving natural resources, preventing ozone depletion, and adopting eco-friendly habits in daily life. The atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm and commitment as students took the pledge with sincerity, promising to protect and save the Earth by making conscious and sustainable choices.
