On the occasion of International Day of Democracy, the Department of Political Science organized a special lecture on 15th September 2025.
The programme was presided over by Dr. M.K. Manjunatha, Principal. The resource person for the lecture was Mr. Chandrashekar A.R., Lecturer, Government Independent PU College, Channarayapatna, who spoke on the significance of democracy, the constitutional values of equality, liberty, and justice, and the responsibility of citizens in protecting democratic traditions.
The event was graced by the presence of Dr. N.T. Nagaraja (HoD, Political Science), along with faculty members Mr. Siddarju (Political Science), Mr. Lokesh G.S., and Mr. Vishwantha H.M. (Economics). Faculty and students actively participated in the programme and gained valuable insights.
The programme concluded with an interactive session, making the day meaningful and memorable.
