Sri Adichunchanagiri First Grade College, Channarayapatna, observed World Cancer Day on 6 February 2026 through the Youth Red Cross and Red Ribbon Units, in line with the theme “United by Unique.” The programme featured expert talks by Dr. C. N. Jagadish and Dr. V. Mahesh, highlighting cancer prevention, early detection, and lifestyle awareness. Dr. Nirupama M, Convener, welcomed the gathering, while Dr. M. K. Manjunatha, Principal, delivered the presidential address. The session witnessed active participation from students and staff and effectively created awareness about cancer care and community responsibility.
