Career Guidance what next after B.Com

 The Department of Commerce organised a Career Guidance Programme on the topic What Next After B.Com?” on 13.05.2026 for the benefit of B.Com students. The programme aimed to create awareness among students about various career opportunities available after completing their graduation and to guide them in planning their future careers effectively.

The resource person for the programme was Lakshmi Priya from VTEC Solutions. She delivered an informative and motivating session highlighting the wide range of career paths available for commerce graduates. She explained various opportunities in fields such as banking, finance, accounting, taxation, insurance, business management, digital marketing, and entrepreneurship.

During the session, the speaker also provided detailed information about professional courses such as CA, CMA, CS, MBA, and other skill-based certification programmes that can enhance employability. She encouraged students to improve their communication skills, technical knowledge, aptitude, and interview skills to meet industry expectations.

The programme was highly interactive, and students actively participated by asking questions related to higher education, competitive examinations, placement opportunities, and career planning. The speaker clarified the students’ doubts and motivated them to focus on skill development and continuous learning.
