Farewell Party– B.Com Batch 2023–26

The Department of Commerce organized a Farewell Party for the outgoing B.Com Batch 2023–26 on 19.05.2026 with great enthusiasm and emotion. The programme was conducted in the college auditorium in the presence of faculty members, students, and guests. The chief guest and resource person for the programme was Dr. Y. R. Yuvaraj, who addressed the students with inspiring words about career growth, discipline, confidence, and social responsibility. He encouraged the outgoing students to face future challenges with determination and to uphold the values learned during their college life.

Dr. Manjunatha M.K., Principal addressed the gathering and shared valuable career guidance information with the students. He motivated them to improve their skills, pursue higher education, and make use of opportunities for a successful future.

Mr. Shridhar A.N., Mr. Narasimhamurthy P., Mr. Nandeesh S.C., and Mr. Pavan H.G. were present during the programme. The Head of the Department, Mr. Shridhar A.N., expressed a few heartfelt words to the outgoing students and advised them to maintain dedication, honesty, and commitment in their future careers. He also appreciated the students for their active participation and contribution to the department during their academic journey.

The programme began with a warm welcome speech followed by cultural activities, games, and entertainment programmes presented by the junior students. Several students shared their memorable experiences and expressed gratitude towards the management, teaching faculty, and friends for their continuous support throughout the academic journey. Faculty members also conveyed their best wishes to the outgoing students for a bright and successful future.

The farewell celebration created an emotional and joyful atmosphere as students recollected their memorable moments spent in the institution. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks and group photographs, making the occasion memorable for the B.Com 2023–26 batch.

Career Guidance what next after B.Com

 The Department of Commerce organised a Career Guidance Programme on the topic What Next After B.Com?” on 13.05.2026 for the benefit of B.Com students. The programme aimed to create awareness among students about various career opportunities available after completing their graduation and to guide them in planning their future careers effectively.

The resource person for the programme was Lakshmi Priya from VTEC Solutions. She delivered an informative and motivating session highlighting the wide range of career paths available for commerce graduates. She explained various opportunities in fields such as banking, finance, accounting, taxation, insurance, business management, digital marketing, and entrepreneurship.

During the session, the speaker also provided detailed information about professional courses such as CA, CMA, CS, MBA, and other skill-based certification programmes that can enhance employability. She encouraged students to improve their communication skills, technical knowledge, aptitude, and interview skills to meet industry expectations.

The programme was highly interactive, and students actively participated by asking questions related to higher education, competitive examinations, placement opportunities, and career planning. The speaker clarified the students’ doubts and motivated them to focus on skill development and continuous learning.

Faculty members of the Department of Commerce and students were present during the programme. The session proved to be highly beneficial and informative for the students in understanding the opportunities available after B.Com and preparing themselves for successful careers.
