ATC CAMP

The Annual Training Camp (ATC) was held at 15th Battalion, NCC, Hassan, from 18.08.2026 to 27.08.2026 for a period of 10 days. 35 NCC cadets from Sri Adichunchanagiri First Grade College actively participated in the camp. The camp was conducted under the guidance of Cap. Shivappa RK, Camp Adjutant, with the objective of developing discipline, unity, leadership, physical fitness, confidence, responsibility and patriotism among the cadets.

During the ten-day camp, our NCC cadets participated enthusiastically in various training and developmental activities. The camp included unity and discipline training, physical training, moral classes, NCC special subject classes, yoga and various awareness programmes. These activities helped the cadets improve their physical fitness, mental strength, discipline, teamwork and leadership qualities.

The cadets also participated in practical and experiential activities such as a dog show, fire-fighting training, cultural training and firing. The dog show provided an opportunity for the cadets to observe trained dogs and understand their role in service and security activities. Fire-fighting training created awareness about fire safety, emergency response and the use of fire-fighting equipment. Cultural training encouraged creativity, confidence and teamwork, while firing training provided practical exposure to discipline, concentration, safety procedures and responsible handling under proper supervision.

The ATC Camp provided our cadets with a valuable opportunity to undergo comprehensive NCC training in a disciplined and organized environment at 15th Battalion, Hassan. The active participation of all 35 cadets helped them develop unity, discipline, confidence, leadership, physical fitness, responsibility and a spirit of service and patriotism. The camp concluded successfully on 27.08.2026, leaving the cadets with meaningful learning experiences and greater confidence to participate in future NCC activities.
