Yuva Sourabha 2026–27

Kala Sinchana Cultural Foourm, Sri Adichunchanagiri First Grade College, Channarayapatna, collaborated with Kannada Sahitya Parishath, organized Yuva Sourabha 2026–27 on 27 August 2026 as a cultural programme to celebrate and promote the rich folk traditions and cultural heritage of Karnataka. The programme provided an excellent platform for students and young artists to showcase their talents through various traditional dance, music and folk-art performances.

The programme was conducted in a colourful and festive atmosphere. Students enthusiastically participated in different cultural presentations, wearing traditional costumes and presenting the richness and diversity of Karnataka’s folk culture. The performances created awareness among the younger generation about the importance of preserving traditional art forms and cultural values.

On the occasion, Sri Sri Shambhunatha Mahaswamiji addressed the gathering about the importance of preserving our cultural heritage, traditions and values. In his ahirvachana, Swamiji emphasized the significant role of culture in shaping the character and personality of the younger generation. He encouraged the students to respect and preserve traditional art forms and to actively participate in cultural and social activities. Swamiji also stressed the responsibility of youth in carrying forward the rich cultural heritage to future generations.

The programme witnessed the enthusiastic participation of students, faculty members, cultural artists, dignitaries and guests. The active involvement of the students made the event lively and meaningful. The programme also provided students with an opportunity to develop confidence, creativity, teamwork and appreciation for Karnataka’s folk traditions.

Overall, Yuva Sourabha 2026–27 was successfully conducted as a meaningful cultural initiative of the college. The programme not only showcased the richness of folk arts but also created awareness among students about cultural heritage, traditional values and the responsibility of youth to preserve and promote them. The event was an enriching and memorable experience for everyone involved.
