The Department of Physics organized a Celebration of National Space Day on 24 August 2026 in the Physics Laboratory of the college. The programme was organized to create awareness among students about the importance of space science, space exploration, and India’s achievements in the field of space research.
As part of the celebration, the students of the Department of Physics prepared and displayed various models related to space science and technology. The Physics students demonstrated the models and explained their working principles, significance, and applications to the visitors. They enthusiastically interacted with the audience and clarified their queries regarding space exploration and related scientific concepts.
The celebration successfully encouraged scientific curiosity, creativity, and interest in space science among the students. The event also provided a platform for Physics students to develop their presentation, communication, and practical skills.
