Orientation Programme for I B Sc students

 An Orientation Programme for B.Sc. students was organized on 17 August 2026 from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. to warmly welcome the students and familiarize them with the institution, academic system, curricular activities, and various opportunities available during their college journey.

The programme commenced with an invocation song presented by K. M. Sinchana and team, seeking divine blessings for the successful beginning of the academic year. The programme was formally inaugurated by watering the plant, symbolizing growth, knowledge, and the bright future of the students.

Dr. Nirupama M. delivered the welcome speech, extending a warm welcome to the Principal, faculty members, and students. She highlighted the importance of the orientation programme in helping students understand the institution and begin their academic journey with confidence.

The orientation talk was delivered by Dr. Chandrashekar B. N. He introduced the students to the institution, academic system, curriculum, curricular and extracurricular activities, student committees, clubs, and various opportunities available in the college. He emphasized the importance of regular attendance, academic discipline, active participation, skill development, and overall personality development. He encouraged students to actively participate in various committees and college activities and make effective use of the facilities and opportunities provided by the institution.

The Presidential Address was delivered by Dr. Manjunath M. K., who motivated the students to pursue their academic goals with dedication, discipline, and confidence. He encouraged them to make the best use of the opportunities provided by the institution for their academic and personal development.

The programme was smoothly anchored by Lavanya and Preksha C. S., who coordinated the proceedings effectively. The programme concluded with the vote of thanks delivered by Mrs. Arpitha H. J., who expressed gratitude to the Principal, faculty members, organizers, and students for their valuable presence and support.

The orientation programme provided a meaningful and encouraging beginning for the B.Sc. students, helping them understand the academic environment, institutional activities, and opportunities available to them.
