An Orientation Programme for I B.A. students was organized on 18th August 2026 from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. The programme aimed to warmly welcome the newly admitted students and familiarize them with the college environment, academic system, and various support services available for their overall development.
The programme commenced with a prayer by Bhavani, I B.A. Niroosha M.R. served as the Master of Ceremonies. Dr. Praveen Kumar S. delivered the welcome address and warmly welcomed the students to the institution.
Dr. Nagaraja N.T. introduced the students to the academic structure, subjects, curriculum, and other important academic matters related to the B.A. programme. He also introduced the various committees and support mechanisms available in the college, explaining whom students could approach for guidance and assistance regarding their academic, personal, and other college-related concerns.
Dr. M.K. Manjunatha, Principal, delivered the presidential address and motivated the students to actively participate in academic and co-curricular activities and make effective use of the opportunities provided by the college.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Ningiraju. The orientation programme was informative and helped the I B.A. students gain a better understanding of the college, its academic system, and the support services available to them.
