The Women Empowerment Cell and Women Sexual Harassment Prevention Cell of Sri Adichunchanagiri First Grade College jointly organized a Bhagina Distribution Programme for the women staff of the college on 11th September 2026, as part of the Gowri Habba celebrations.
As a gesture of respect, goodwill, and celebration of tradition, Bhagina was presented to the women staff by the men faculty members of the college. The programme provided an opportunity to celebrate the festival in a spirit of togetherness, mutual respect, and camaraderie among the staff members.
The programme was coordinated by Dr. Nirupama M., Convenor of the Women Empowerment Cell, and Mrs. Kavitha J.N., Convenor of the Women Sexual Harassment Prevention Cell.
