The Department of History, Sri Adichunchanagiri First Grade College, Channarayapatna, organized a historical field visit to the Lakshminarayana Swamy Temple at Hosaholalu, Krishnarajapete on 21.09.2026, with the objective of providing students with practical knowledge of historical monuments, temple architecture, and cultural heritage.
A total of 35 students and 2 faculty members, Mr. Shekhimran and Mr. Ravivarma K.G., participated in the field visit. The visit provided students with an opportunity to observe the architectural features, artistic carvings, and historical significance of the temple. The faculty members guided the students in understanding the cultural and historical importance of the monument.
The field visit helped students connect their classroom learning with practical observations and develop an appreciation for Karnataka's rich historical and architectural heritage. The programme was an informative and enriching learning experience for the participating students.
