The Department of Mathematics, Sri Adichunchanagiri First Grade College, Channarayapatna, organized an Interdepartmental Quiz Competition on 21st September 2026 to enhance students' mathematical knowledge, logical thinking, problem-solving skills, and interest in mathematics.
A total of 90 students participated in the competition. Ms. Brunda D.K., Lecturer in Mathematics and Convenor, coordinated the programme and guided the students throughout the event.
During the programme, Dr. M.K. Manjunatha, Principal, highlighted the importance of logical and mathematical reasoning in examinations and encouraged students to develop analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Mrs. Arpitha HJ, HoD of Physics, was present on the occasion. Mrs. Kavitha J.N., Librarian, and Ms. Brunda D.K. supervised and invigilated the quiz competition, ensuring its smooth and fair conduct.
The competition provided students with an opportunity to strengthen their mathematical understanding, develop logical reasoning skills, and enhance their confidence in academic activities. The programme concluded successfully with active student participation and faculty support.
