A Special Lecture Programme on the occasion of World Water Day was organized by the Department of Geography. The program aimed to raise awareness among students about the importance of water conservation and sustainable usage.
The resource person for the programme was Mrs. Radamma K.M., Department of Zoology. In her insightful lecture, she explained the importance of water in sustaining life on Earth and highlighted the growing challenges related to water scarcity. She emphasised the need to use water judiciously and encouraged students to adopt water-saving practices in their daily lives to ensure availability for future generations.
The programme was conducted in the presence of Dr. M.K. Manjunatha, Principal, who appreciated the initiative taken by the department and stressed the importance of environmental awareness among students.
