The Department of Zoology organised a debate competition as part of the World Ozone Day – 2026 celebration on 16th September 2026 on the topic, “Development Should Not Be Achieved at the Expense of the Environment.” Four teams participated in the competition, with two teams speaking in favour and two against the topic.
On 17th September 2026, during the morning prayer assembly, prizes were distributed to the Best Speaker in Favour and the Best Speaker Against the topic. The prizes were presented by the Principal and the Head of the Department of Zoology, encouraging students to develop environmental awareness, critical thinking, and communication skills.
